Electronic Data Systems – XEROX account
Associate Systems Administrator – ESC Service Center
· Worked in a call center taking end user calls from XEROX employees regarding computer related problems. Created and maintained NT / Novell domain and exchange email accounts for a specific Engineering / development group within the XEROX community.
· Was a lead for the Blackberry / Blackberry Enterprise Server business and was a focal in starting this line of business with EDS. This included working on a team with XEROX and EDS IT management personnel to help develop a support model. When a plan was developed, I gave 3 training classes on how the Blackberry worked and how we were going to support this line of business.
· Worked with the Development team when transitioning from a Novell / NT / exchange environment to an Active Directory / Exchange environment. Tested the creation of domain and email accounts to help develop a delegation of rights model for helpdesk and support personnel.
· When the XEROX environment moved to Active Directory, account administration worldwide was centralized. Was asked to move to a team that created and troubleshoot Active Directory and Exchange mail accounts and provided server access for all of XEROX worldwide. This included users in US, Canada, Europe and South America. This also included moving domain and mail accounts to the appropriate servers when they move and setting up shared server space / access as needed.
